through his death, sin was wiped out and death extinguished; through his resurrection, righteousness was restored and life raised up. (10)

We receive forgiveness of sin, righteousness and eternal life by faith alone in Christ's life, death, and resurrection. Christ said,

"Repent and believe the gospel." (Mark 1:15)
